Uzbekistan will host the IREG-2023 international conference. The First Deputy Minister of Higher Education Komil Karimov hosted the President of the International Ranking Expert Group (IREG) Waldemar Sivinski and representatives of the Polish delegation.
At the meeting, the sides discussed the ways to increase the member among Uzbekistan's higher education institutions in the IREG, holding the IREG-2023 international conference in Uzbekistan in April 2023, the forum of rectors of Uzbekistan and Poland, and the exhibition of Polish higher education institutions.
- A number of Polish universities in the fields of medicine and engineering are interested in establishing relations with similar higher education institutions of Uzbekistan, - said Waldemar Sivinski. - Warsaw Academy of Dentistry aims to exchange experience on treatment technologies of the Tashkent State Institute of Dentistry.
The Poland officials suggested the development of various forms of cooperation in the areas of water resources use, environmental protection, engineering and technical areas as important educational areas.
At the talks, it was agreed to hold the IREG-2023 international conference in Uzbekistan in order to expedite the implementation of the tasks set by the educational institutions of the republic to access the internationally recognized ratings.
