The Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova commented the receiving of a note from Uzbekistan demanding clarification of raids against migrants in Moscow, the TASS said today.

Astana will host the second Central Asia-China Summit on June 17, the Akorda press service said. The Summit will be attended by the presidents of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, and China.

Tashkent International Commercial Court (TICC) will open in Uzbekistan to protect the rights of investors. At his opening remarks at the Tashkent International Investment Forum, the president Shavkat Mirziyoyev said that the country has significant potential in the field of rare minerals and urged investors to proceed to the manufacturing of high-value-added products.

Gazprom upped gas supplies to Uzbekistan by 4.4 billion cubic meters in 2024. Gazprom supplied 5.64 billion cubic meters (BCM) of gas to Uzbekistan in 2024, while in 2023 this figure reached 1.28 BCM, that is, gas supplies increased by more than 4 times the company said in an annual report.

The state-owned Regional Power Grids has filed a lawsuit against Enter Engineering for delaying payment for power usage power. In addition to this, the company is facing legal claims from an agency under the Ministry of Water Resources and at least one private enterprise.
