Chairman of tourism development committee Aziz Abduhakimov has been appointed Deputy Prime Minister, replacing Kahramon Akramov as the head of the complex of education, healthcare, ecology, environment protection and sports, a source in the government said.

The petition, inititiated on the Mening Fikrim (transl. My Opinion) petitioning portal to award Shavkat Mirziyoyev the Hero of Uzbekistan order, gathered the required 10,000 signatures and is now being reviewed by the Parliement, with an official response to be posted on the site within 60 days.
