Uzbekistan national hockey team will join the 2025 IIHF World Hockey Championship from starting from the lowest Division IV grouped with Iran, Kuwait, Indonesia, Malaysia and Armenia.
The dates and venue of the competition is yet to be determined. This will be the first major tournament in history for the Uzbekistan national hockey team.
Although the Hockey Federation of Uzbekistan has been a member of the IIHF since 2019, Uzbekistan still has no national team. Because the condition of holding a domestic championship for 3 consecutive years must be met, which will be done this year.
Currently, Uzbekistan has a U-18 team which already won the Asia & Oceania U18 Cup twice in a row.
