The Executive Committee of the Uzbekistan Football Federation (UFF) has revoked the coaching license of the Neftchi head coach Vadim Abramov for an indefinite period, the UFF said in a statement.
The reason for the indefinite license revocation were "inappropriate" statements by Vadim Abramov which, according to the federation’s disciplinary code, discredit the reputation of the UFF and Professional Football League (PFL) and their officials, and create "unhealthy public opinion" due to incorrect interpretation of the decisions of the said organizations.
The decision was taken on December 16 on the basis of Part 2 of the Disciplinary Code "On strict adherence to established requirements by coaches and club executives and preventing the misinterpretation of UFF and PFL’s decisions in the media."
Neftchi coach in a recent interview to Championat.asia criticized some decisions of the football organizations, in particular, the new format of the top league.
UFF added that Vadim Abramov had to express his dissatisfaction directly to the UFF leadership, and not publicly through the media.
