FC Lokomotiv Moscow announced the signing of the 18-year old attacking midfielder of the Tashkent-based Bunyodkor Jasur Jaloliddinov.
Jasur Jaloliddinov was transferred for areported 350 thousand euros on a 5-year deal. He was handed the number 23 shirt in his new team.
“Of course, I already knew a lot about Lokomotiv. Even before the tranfer, I watched the championship film, read through the club’s history, and I know which players play in the team. I want to meet Alexey Miranchuk, we play in the same style, and I am also left-footed. I am a little excited, but this is good, because I feel the responsibility,” Jaloliddinov said.
The midfielder made his debut in the main squad of Bunyodkor in August 2018 in the Super League match against the Kokand 1912 when he was only 16 to become the youngest player to be in game in the history of the highest division of Uzbekistan.
In 2019, Jaloliddinov made it to the Guardian's world 60 best young players list.
