KazTransOil established a new price for the transit of Russian oil through the territory of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan, the company said.
Reportedly, by order of the General Director of KazTransOil dated December 27, the transportation service price of KazTransOil for the oil of Russian origin for the purpose of transit through the territory of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan was approved at 27.9 US dollars per 1 ton without VAT .
The above tariffs are effective from February 1, 2023.
According to Kursiv, the current tariff is $25.12 per 1 ton without VAT.
The tariff includes in the cost of pumping oil from the border of the Russian Federation with the Republic of Kazakhstan - the Shagyr oil loading station - $ 24.28 per 1 ton without VAT and the tariff for loading into railway tanks at the Shagyr oil loading station - $ 0.84 per 1 ton without VAT.
Unlike internal tariffs for oil transportation, which are regulated by the state and approved by the chairman of the Committee for the Regulation of Natural Monopolies of the Ministry of National Economy, tariffs for the transit and export of hydrocarbons can be set by the national company independently.
