According to Kabar.kg, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay an official visit to Kyrgyzstan next week. This was announced by Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev at a meeting with the residents of Yntymak village of Uzgen District in Osh province.
Atambaev reportedly told that he had good personal relations with the President of Uzbekistan.
"Two weeks ago, the prime ministers of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan met and agreed on 84% of the boundary. There is tremendous progress in this issue," he said and added that the Uzbek PM for the first time in 26 years visited Kyrgyzstan.
