President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated Sooranbai Jeenbekov on his election as the President of Kyrgyzstan, Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.
"Your victory is the testament of the Kyrgyz people's broad support for your program aimed at continuing the line of deep structural reforms in the country, further enhancing the well-being of the population, ensuring peace, stability and harmony in the society, as well as strengthening the country's reputation in the world arena", - the message of the head of state said.
It was emphasized that Uzbekistan pays special attention to building mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation and is ready to make all the necessary efforts to strengthen the partnership ties for the benefit of the two people.
"I am convinced that the high level of constructive political dialogue achieved over the past year and the commitment of the parties to resolve existing issues based on the principles of mutual respect and consideration of common interests will be further advanced".
The President of Uzbekistan wished Sooranbay Zheenbekov good health and successes in the new responsible capacity, and to the people of Kyrgyzstan - peace and prosperity.
