Uzbekistan Interior Ministry delegation, led by the Minister Aziz Toshpulatov paid an official visit to Hungary from July 16 to 19.

During the visit, Minister Toshpulatov held talks with Hungary’s Minister of Interior, Sándor Pintér. The parties reiterated their interest in expanding cooperation in interior and digital security, crime prevention, cybersecurity, and personnel training.

The talks also centered on opportunities for experience-sharing, adopting modern technologies, and joint educational initiatives. They also focused on counterterrorism, combating illicit drug trafficking, fighting cybercrime, regulating migration, and protecting human rights.

The Hungarian minister praised the high level of public security in Uzbekistan and voiced readiness to deepen the further partnership.

The talks concluded with the signing of a 2025–2026 cooperation roadmap, outlining specific joint projects and activities in key areas.

The Minister Toshpulatov extended an official invitation to his Hungarian counterpart to visit Uzbekistan.
