President Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent condolences message to the President of Iran Hassan Rouhani following an earthquake which left many people dead and injured in Kermanshah and Ilam provinces, the Uzbek Presidency site said.
A 7.2 magnitude earthquake occurred on the border between Iran and Iraq on Sunday. As the head of the Emergency Medical Services of Iran, Pir Hossein Kulivand said the number of the injured hit 2500 people, with at least 345 people killed and about 70 thousand people left homeless.
