“Marking the 30th iteration, CENTCOM is scheduled to host Exercise Regional Cooperation 2026 next month with international partners from central and south Asian nations. Military personnel from nearly a dozen countries will train in the United States to sharpen their operational skills, enhance readiness, and promote regional security cooperation”, the U.S. Central Command on its X page
The last edition, the Regional Cooperation 25 exercise took place in June 2025 at Joint Base Cape Cod, Massachusetts. The drills brought together military personnel from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Mongolia, as well as Pakistan and the United States, while Armenia, Great Britain, and Georgia participated as observers.
CENTCOM describes the event as an annual multilateral command-and-staff exercise designed to refine joint international operations, bolster counter-terrorism cooperation, improve interoperability, and strengthen civil-military relations. US officials have not yet disclosed the specific location for the 2026 maneuvers.
