President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev today left for Moscow to attend the informal meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
The meeting will be attended by President Vladimir Putin of Russia, President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan, President Serzh Sargsyan of Armenia, President Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus, President Nursultan Nazarbayev of Kazakhstan, President Sooronbai Jeenbekov of Kyrgyzstan, President Igor Dodon of Moldova, President Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan and President Shavkat Mirziyoev of Uzbekistan.
The meeting attendees are expected to exchange views on the outcomes of Russia's chairmanship in the CIS in 2017 and further advancing of cooperation in various fields.
