Interim President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent congratulation message to Rumen Rudev on his election as the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.
The message notes that the two countries have wide opportunities to consistently enhance cooperation in political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian areas.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed confidence that Rumen Rudev in his responsible capacity of the President will do everything possible to strengthen the traditionally friendly and close Uzbek-Bulgarian relations, which are based on mutual respect and interests and serve for the benefit of the two countries and their peoples.
