Uzbekistan delegation led by the Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov will visit the United States from January 14 to 21, 2018, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.
The delegation will reportedly attend a thematic briefing at the UN Security Council on "Non-proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction: Confidence-building Measures" and the open ministerial level debate on the threats to international peace and security focusing on the topic: "Building Regional Partnership in Afghanistan and Central Asia as a Model to Link Security and Development".
Uzbek Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov will meet with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, hold talks with foreign ministers of a number of states and U.S. officials in Washington.
