Acting President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent his condolences message to the President of Brazil Michel Miguel Temer Lulia Elias on the crash of a Brazilian passenger plane in Colombia which led to numerous casualties.
In his message, Shavkat Mirziyoev conveyed the words of sympathy to the families and friends of the victims and wished recovery to those injured, an Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.
A plane carrying 77 people, including nine crew members, crashed on Tuesday 50 km from the city of Medellin. Among the passengers were a football team from Brazil, Chapecoense. The plane reportedly ran out of fuel with 6 people said to have survived it.
