The foreign ministers of India, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, the SCO Secretary General and the Director of the Executive Committee of the SCO Regional Antiterrorism Structure discussed the preparations for the upcoming SCO Summit in Qingdao, the Uzbek foreign ministry said.

The Ministers reportedly approved the draft Qingdao Declaration of the Heads of State, which establishes the commitment of the member states to expanding the multifaceted cooperation based on the goals and principles outlined in the SCO Charter, and also reflects consolidated positions on topical international and regional affairs.

The draft of the Cooperation Program for Combating Terrorism, Separatism and Extremism for 2019-2021 and other documents were also reviewed and approved.

The parties exchanged views on topical international problems and the situation in the region.

Following the meeting, the parties adopted decisions aimed at further developing multilateral cooperation in various areas.

The foreign ministers of the SCO member states were hosted Monday by the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping.
