President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a working visit to Tajikistan on September 27-28 to attend the next CIS summit. On the margins of the CIS summit Shavkat Mirziyoyev is scheduled to hold a number of bilateral meetings.
In October last year, at the CIS summit in Sochi, the chairmanship in the Commonwealth passed from Russia to Tajikistan.
Interstate program of joint measures to combat crime for 2019-2023, an agreement on cooperation in combating crimes in the field of information technology are expected to be signed in the Dushanbe summit.
The CIS chairmanship at the summit will pass from Tajikistan to Turkmenistan. Earlier, the president of Moldova, Igor Dodon, also announced the intention to take over the chairmanship in the CIS in 2020.
