Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov hosted the participants of the 21st meeting of the Conference of Special Services of Turkic-speaking States, which was held in Kyrgyzstan, the presidential press service reports.
Chairman of the State Security Service of Uzbekistan Ihtiyor Abdullayev, Head of the State Security Service of Azerbaijan Madat Guliyev, Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Azerbaijan Orhan Sultanov, Deputy Chairman of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan Nurgali Bilisbekov, Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Kazakhstan Isatai Syrtayev, Chairman of the State National Security Committee of Kyrgyzstan Idris Kadyrkulov, as well as the secretary of the Security Council of the Kyrgyz Republic Damir Sagynbaev and Head of Department of Foreign Policy Office of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Daniyar Sydykov were present in the meeting.
“We are fraternal and close nations and are pleased that by maintaining the 20-year tradition of annual meetings of heads of intelligence services, you contribute to the strengthening and developing multilateral cooperation, share experiences and discuss a wide range of national, regional and global issues,” said Sooronbay Jeenbekov, noting that this conference is a significant event for the entire region.
The chairman of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan, Idris Kadyrkulov, presented information on the activities of the Conference of Special Services of Turkic-speaking States, noting that the chairmanship was handed over from Kyrgyzstan to Azerbaijan.
