The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev conveyed his condolences to the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and to the fraternal people of Turkey in connection with the terrorist attack in Istanbul, which led to numerous human deaths, the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan said.
In his message, the President conveyed heartfelt sympathy to the families of the victims and wished recovery to the wounded.
39 people were killed, including 16 foreigners, another 69 people were wounded in an armed attack in the New Year's Eve in Istanbul's Reina nightclub.
