President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed deep condolences to the President of Hungary, Janos Ader in connection with numerous human victims in a bus accident with Hungarian citizens in Verona province of northern Italy, a statement of the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan said.
President Mirziyoyev conveyed words of sincere sympathy and compassion to the families and friends of those killed and injured.
In Italy on the night of January 21 а tourist bus on its way from France to Hungary went off the road and crashed into a pillar, bursting into flames . The bus was carrying 55 people mostly Hungarian students, who were returning from annual ski camp in France.
Sixteen people, mostly teenagers, have died and nearly 40 have been injured. The Hungarian Government declared Monday a day of national mourning.
