On January 24 the Uzbekistan delegation headed by the Foreign Minister, Abdulaziz Kamilov was received by the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani in Arg presidential palace.
The Minister Kamilov conveyed the personal message from the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev inviting the President of Afghanistan to visit Uzbekistan on an official visit.
During the meeting the sides discussed issues of further advancing of bilateral relations in various areas.
It was emphasized that thanks to the political will of the governments of Uzbekistan and Afghanistan, the relations between our countries to this day have acquired a new dynamics, which is evidnced by the enhanced cooperation in political, trade-economic, transport and communications, cultural and humanitarian areas have.
The sides also exchanged views on international and regional issues of mutual concern.
