Uzbek Foreign Minister, Abdulaziz Kamilov sent a congratulatory message to Rex Wayne Tillerson, on the occasion of his taking office of the United States Secretary of State, a statement of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.
In his message Minister Kamilov expressed confidence that Rex Tillerson in his new role will fully contribute to the strengthening of peace and stability, sustainable development and the deepening of mutual understanding between the countries.
"Uzbekistan is determined to continue to advance cooperation with the United States and develop the growing partnership in trade, economic, investment, technological and humanitarian areas, fully support the constructive dialogue aimed at the formation of a civil society based on the principles of mutual understanding, respect and benefit", - it said in the message.
