The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent a message of condolences to the Prime Minister of United Kingdom, Theresa May in connection with the human victims following the terrorist attack in London, a statement of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.
The Head of State conveyed the words of sympathy and support to the families and friends of the victims, and also wished a speedy recovery to all the injured.
On Wednesday, in the Westminster Bridge a man in a car drove into the pedestrians. After the car crashed into the perimeter fence of the Palace grounds, he abandoned it and ran into the New Palace Yard, where he fatally stabbed an unarmed policeman. The terrorist was shot by another policeman.
4 people were the victims of the terrorist attack, and 50 people were injured. The attack was identified as 52-year-old British-born Khalid Masood.
