On April 17, in Astana, under the chairmanship of the National Coordinator of Kazakhstan, A.Zh. Abishev, kicked off the meeting of the Council of National Coordinators of the SCO member-states (CNC SCO).
The agenda of the meeting, which will run through April 19, includes nearly thirty issues related to the current preparations for the meeting of the SCO Council of Foreign Ministers, scheduled for April 20-21, 2017 in Astana, Kazakhstan.
Along with this, the issues of coordinating the activities of the parties will be studied ahead of the upcoming meeting of the SCO Council of the Heads of States on June 8-9, 2017 in Astana.
The national coordinators will also discuss the results of the Meeting of the Secretaries of the Security Councils and the Meeting of Senior Officials of the authorized Anti-Drug Bodies of the SCO member-states.
The CNC coordinates the current activities of the Organization and ensures the interaction of relevant ministries and agencies of the SCO member-states.
