On May 1, 2017, Uzbek Foreign Ministry delegation headed by the Minister Kamilov took part in the sixth meeting of the Foreign Ministers in the framework of the Central Asia+Japan Dialogue in Ashgabat.
The parties discussed the ways to promote regional cooperation in the field of trade and investment, including the implementation of projects in the agriculture, transport infrastructure and logistics, as well as the issues of sustainable development, climate change, environmental protection and interaction in cultural and humanitarian fields.
The Foreign Ministers also exchanged views on regional security and cooperation in the international arena.
As an outcome of the meeting, the parties have adopted a Joint Statement and Roadmap on interaction in the field of transport and logistics.
