Government delegation, led by Deputy PM Jamshid Khodjaev, as part of the travel to Korea Republic held talks with the South Korean company ROBOTIS, a major player in the robotics industry known for its humanoid and educational robots, as well as its DYNAMIXEL intelligent actuators, which resulted in memorandum of understanding between the Uzeltekhsanoat Association and the South Korean ROBOTIS.
The deal provides for the launch of humanoid robot production unit in Uzbekistan, the creation of a technological and manufacturing base, and personnel training.
ROBOTIS has extensive experience in the creation and commercialization of robots, and cooperation with the company opens up opportunities for Uzbekistan to accelerate the development of its own high-tech industry.
The signing of the MoU reportedly marks a significant step in deepening economic partnership and strengthening the country's position in innovation.
