Singer Zebiniso Nosirova, aka Zeboyi Jahon, was killed in her Taylak district home in Samarkand province Saturday, Millar program of the Milliy TV channel reported in a story.
Her husband, who came to her home to visit her children, is suspected of the murder. Reportedly, a conflict occurred between the spouses, during which he strangled her with his hands. The woman died on the spot.
"My sister did not deserve such a death. That day I was at work. At about 4 o'clock my wife called and said that something had happened to my sister. I called my mother - she said: "Come quick, she was killed." How can you do this to your wife, the mother of three sons?" - said the brother of the deceased, calling for the strictest punishment.
According to the Prosecutor General’s spokesman, Khayot Shamsutdinov, the man, 33, has been detained and is now facing Premeditated murder charge.
