On the sidelines of the Tashkent International Investment Forum, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev hosted Eduardo Menezes, CEO of Air Products.
The meeting focused on further expanding mutually beneficial cooperation with the US-based company, which is actively investing in the establishment of high-tech industrial enterprises across Uzbekistan.
Air Products is a global leader in the production and supply of industrial gases, with a market capitalization exceeding $60 billion. Operating a network of around 750 production facilities, the company produces 200 million tons of industrial gases annually across more than 50 countries.
To date, the company's total investment in Uzbekistan has surpassed $1 billion. Key joint initiatives include industrial gas processing at the Uzbekistan GTL plant, hydrogen production at the Fergana Oil Refinery, and liquid carbon dioxide production at Navoiyazot JSC, alongside educational programs launched in Tashkent and Karshi.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the sides agreed to fast-track the implementation of new projects involving the company through a dedicated roadmap.
