The Ministry of Innovative Development plans to launch the production of mechanical ventilation devices (MVD) together with partners from Russia and Slovakia, the ministry said.
A joint Uzbek-Slovak-Russian venture Chirana Asia was set up, with production process starting as early as in May. The production site in Tashkent’s Bektemir district is to be completed before September, when the plant will be commissioned.
At the first stage of production localization, foreign partners plan to make US$ 3 million worth of investments and create 30 jobs. At the second stage, it is planned to invest up to US$ 5-6 million and create up to 100 jobs.
The first such project in Central Asia is planning to market its products in Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan.
