Gas production in Uzbekistan slipped to 44.59 BCM in 2024, which is by almost 2.1 BCM or 4.5% less than in 2023, the Statistics Agency said in its Industrial production report 2024.
For information, in 2022, gas production decreased from 53.8 billion in 2021 to 51.67 BCM or 4%, and in 2023 - from 51.67 billion to 46.71 BCM or 9.6%.

- 2023 - 46.71 BCM;

According to the trend, over the past 7 years, gas production plummeted by almost 28% or 17 BCM.
Meanwhile, coal production in 2024 reached 7 million 166 thousand tons, an increase of 26.2% to 2023.
In 2024, oil production also dropped from 779 thousand tons to 713 thousand tons (-8.5%), while gas condensate production increased from 1 million 198 thousand tons to 1 million 214 thousand tons.
Last year, electricity production increased by 4.6% compared to 2023. In particular, while 77.67 billion kWh of electricity was produced in 2023, this figure increased to 81.28 billion kWh in 2024. Despite the increase in total production, the volume of electricity produced by large enterprises decreased by 8%.
399 thousand 327 cars were produced in Uzbekistan in 2024. This is 3,603 more than in 2023.
