Uzbekistan's GDP grew by 7.7% in 2025, the Statistics Committee said in a report. Compared to 2024, this is up by 1 percentage point, with economic growth reached its highest since 2021. Inflation slowed to 7.3% (from 9.8% in 2024), and real growth in total household income reached 9.2% (from 11.7% a year earlier).
The growth rate of industrial manufacturing index increased to 6.8%. Significant growth was also noted in the construction sector, reaching 14.2%. Furthermore, growth rates in agriculture, forestry, and fisheries (+4.4%), market services (+14.7%), and foreign trade turnover (+20.7%) accelerated.
A slowdown in growth was recorded in freight turnover (+1.9%) and passenger turnover (+5.8%), as well as in retail turnover (+11.2%).
