China emerged as Uzbekistan’s top trading partner in the first half of 2026, with bilateral trade volume reaching $9.5 billion, the National Statistics Agency said in a report.

The Russian Federation secured the second spot, with trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Russia hitting $7 billion during the reporting period. Kazakhstan followed in third place, recording $2.8 billion in bilateral trade.

Uzbekistan’s top ten trading partners also included Turkiye ($1.4 billion), Afghanistan ($1.1 billion), the Republic of Korea ($940 million), France ($890.9 million), the United Arab Emirates ($807.7 million), Kyrgyzstan ($624.6 million), and Germany ($623.2 million). Together, these nations accounted for the lion's share of Uzbekistan's total international trade turnover from January to June 2026.
