The Central Bank is holding its board meeting in Tashkent, the press service of the Central Bank. The meeting attendees reportedly decided to keep the interest rate at 14 percent per annum.
The CB kept the rate unchanged at 14 percent on the October 22 meeting as well.
“Future decisions on the interest rate will be based on the current and forecast inflation trend, as well as the assessment of internal and external risks,” the Central Bank added.
The Central Bank projected the inflation rate for the year at 11-12.5 % and will work with the government to take all necessary measures to achieve it.
