The Shirin City Criminal Court has sentenced a school counselor to five days of administrative detention for sexually harassing a 16-year-old student, according to a report by Bu Kun.

While he also denied professing his love to the student, he later apologized to her and her family.

The court found the man guilty under Part 1 of Article 41-1 of the Criminal Code for sexual harassment and sentenced him to five-day administrative arrest.. Additionally, an interlocutory injunction was issued to the Preschool and School Education Department of the Sirdaryo Region, demanding that appropriate action be taken against the man.
