During a joint raid conducted by Eco-police officers from the National Committee for Ecology and Climate Change and the Ohangaron District Police Department, the remains of a Siberian ibex were discovered being sold in the Kuksaroy neighborhood.
Investigations revealed that a man, identified as U.M., had illegally shot and killed the animal without any official permit.
The incident constitutes a direct violation of Articles 32 and 33 of the Protection and Use of Wild Animals Law, as well as Articles 17, 23, and 27 of the Hunting and Hunting Grounds Law."
According to preliminary assessments, this illegal act has inflicted damage to wildlife valued at 6,180,000 soums.
All relevant documents are currently being compiled for submission to judicial authorities to ensure a proper legal evaluation and the enforcement of statutory penalties.
