Traffic safety officers in the Toshloq district of the Fergana province intercepted a Damas minivan found to be illegally transporting 28 children.

According to local authorities, the vehicle was stopped in the Turvat neighborhood area. Five of the children were packed into the front passenger seat alone.

Officials noted that despite repeated warnings issued to parents and drivers regarding child transportation safety regulations, such dangerous violations remain a frequent occurrence.

Following the incident, an administrative violation sheet was issued against the driver under Article 128-8 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility. Additionally, 0.3 penalty points were registered against the driver's license.

This incident follows a similar case in the Qiziltepa district of the Navoiy province, where a driver faced legal action for a gross violation of preschool transport safety. In that instance, which occurred on July 21 in the Vanghozi neighborhood, crime prevention inspectors caught the driver cramming 17 kindergarteners into a Damas minivan.
