On 16 January 2017, the Uzbek Foreign Minister, Abdulaziz Kamilov received the Japanese parliamentary mission, headed by the MP of the House of Councillors, Yuhei Yumashita.
The delegation included the MPs: Mizuho Onuma, Yuka Miyazawa, Mitsuko Ishii, a statement of Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.
The sides discussed the state and prospects of development of relations between Uzbekistan and Japan in the political, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian and other areas, and exchanged views on omportant regional and international issues .
Special attention was paid to the development of bilateral cooperation between the Japanese government program - Official Development Assistance (ODA).
In the meeting was also present the Japanese Ambassador, Nobuaki Ito.
