On February 8, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry delegation, headed by the Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov in Kuwait city met with the speaker of the National Assembly of Kuwait, Marzouq Ali Muhammad Al-Ghanim.
According to the press service of the Foreign Ministry, the sides discussed topical issues of Uzbek-Kuwaiti relations, prospects of strengthening inter-parliamentary cooperation.
The sides noted that Kuwait-Uzbekistan inter-parliamentary friendship subgroup within the National Assembly promotes the intensification of contacts between the two countries.
Other issues aimed at further development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kuwait were also considered during the meeting.
