"Taliban’s Acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi made remarks at the international conference on Afghanistan in Tashkent. Afghanistan is fulfilling all of the promises it had made and that it was big time for the USA to keep its promises and return the frozen money, he said. He added:

"Thank you to Uzbekistan for the invitation and organization. There are historical and religious ties between the peoples of Uzbekistan and Afghanistan."

"In 11 months - a short period of time, we were able to ensure security in the country, and all state bodies have maintained their activities, kept employees, and are providing basic services to the population."

"We downed the corruption to almost zero."

"An amnesty was announced for all political and military enemies."

"For the first time in Afghanistan’s history, the policies of tolerance were announced."

"No one was fired for their political ideology."

"Now we have the Ministries of Defense and Ministry of Internal Affairs working very well. We have recruited many young people for them."

"We have not used these power structures against our people or our neighbors."

"We are calling on all the fellow countrymen who have gone abroad to return, Afghanistan is the land for all Afghans."

"20 years of war and US sanctions are the main cause of poverty and the ordinary people are suffering from them."

"After a long time, we opened all the universities and schools."

"Now we have almost 10 million students studying in schools."

"Where there are conditions for women, they are working, where there are no conditions, they are working from home. We are paying them to work from home until we can accommodate them."

"Efforts are underway to make Afghanistan an international hub for trade cooperation between regions. The shortest route to connect South and Central Asia."

"We promised not to threaten other countries from the territory of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan."

"We call on the US to return the frozen funds without any conditions. We also call on all countries to invest in the country."
