Relatively comfortable August-like weather will rein throughout the working week across Uzbekistan, Uzhydromet reported. Dry and moderately hot weather is expected, with short-term thunderstorms possible only in certain mountainous areas of the country.
The prevailing air temperature in the daytime will be within +31…+34 degrees, which is slightly lower than the normal values for the first half of August. Only by the very end of the week the temperature is expected to rise to +35…+38 degrees.
On some days, in the south and the desert zone, wind intensification up to 15-20 m/s is expected in some places with a dusty drift.
On Monday, August 8, mudslides and floods are possible in the foothill and mountainous areas of Namangan and Ferghana provinces.
