Hungary has proposed to set up manufacturing of dry cooling systems (cooling towers) for nuclear power plants in Uzbekistan, Uzatom’s Director Azim Akhmedkhadjaev told the Uzbekistan 24.

President Mirziyoyev signed decree ordering the Cabinet to introduce a visa-free for U.S. nationals. According to a presidential decree, which will take effect on June 1, 2025, U.S. nationals will be able to enter Uzbekistan without a visa and stay up to 30 days.
