The Uzbekistan Football Federation (UFF) and the United Arab Emirates Football Association (UAEFA) signed a memorandum of collaboration with the aim of consolidating friendly relations, exchanging of football experiences and bringing up new football generations, following the meeting of the President of UFF Umid Ahmadjonov and the Vice-president of the UAE Football Association Abdulla Naser Al Jenaibi, the UFF reported.
The signing ceremony was attended by some sports and administrative figures, where Al Jenaibi welcomed Umid Ahmadjonov on behalf of UAE FA President and Members of Board and expressed his happiness as Ahmadjonov has chosen UAE for his first visit abroad following his election.
He added “UAE FA has strong relations with Uzbekistan FF and we are pleased to further consolidate cooperation and understanding”
For his part, Uzbekistan FF President, Ahmadjonov thanked UAE FA for the warm welcome and expressed his happiness on the visit and the MoU to foster the existing relations. The MoU highlights many points, including among others, organization of competitions/matches, invitations of coaches and referees, exchange of administrative and organizational experiences and conduction of joint seminars.
