15,739 is the number of foreign-invested companies in Uzbekistan as of April 1, 2025, the National Statistics Committee said in a report Tuesday.

Of these, 4,031 are joint ventures, and 11,708 are fully foreign companies.

The number of companies with foreign capital increased by 236 in March. In particular, 136 new companies were established with the participation of Chinese investors. As a result, the total number of structures with the participation of Chinese investors reached 3,711. This is the highest indicator.

China is followed by Russia (3,033 companies) and Turkiye (1,942) to close the top three.

For the first time ever Afghanistan on 1, 672 companies joined the top five ousting Korea Republic.
