President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has accepted the invitation of the French President Emmanuel Macron, and will pay an official visit to France on November 21-22, the presidential press service said.

The program of the visit includes talks between the two leaders in Paris, meetings in the National Assembly - the lower house of the French Parliament, as well as business events with the participation of heads of major French companies and banks.

The agenda includes the ways to advance constructive political dialogue, expanding multifaceted cooperation, implementing investment projects in various sectors of the economy, and continuing humanitarian and educational exchanges.

As a result of the summit, it is planned to adopt more than 10 bilateral documents, as well as a package of investment agreements and trade contracts, the report says.

During Shavkat Mirziyoyev's stay in Paris, exhibitions of the cultural and historical heritage of Uzbekistan will open at the Louvre Museum and the Institute of the Arab World.

These days a business forum is being held in Paris, organized with the support of the French Movement of Entrepreneurs MEDEF.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev paid an official visit to France and held talks with Emmanuel Macron in October 2018. This was the first visit of an Uzbek leader to France in over 20 years.
