58 coronavirus cases were confirmed in Uzbekistan (down from 122 the previous day) on December 12, the Ministry of Health reported. The number of new cases in Tashkent city topped 46 (83 the day before), in other provinces no more than 4 cases.
On some days, the Ministry of Health provides more detailed statistics. Of the 122 people who had coronavirus on December 11, 31 were under 18 years old, 91 were adults. Of these, 49 were hospitalized.
On December 9, coronavirus was detected among 19 people under 18, in 111 adults, 64 people were hospitalized.
The total number of COVID-19 cases officially registered since the beginning of the pandemic has reached 248,000.
