The Minister of Justice Akbar Tashkulov hosted the US Ambassador Jonathan Heniсk. The Minister Tashkulov congratulated the US ambassador on his posting in Uzbekistan and expressed confidence in further strengthening of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries, expansion of relations in the political-diplomatic, educational, scientific and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
The parties exchanged views on the reforms and novelties in the field of cooperation in protecting the rights and interests of religious and non-governmental non-profit organizations, simplifying existing legal procedures and creating additional facilities for them.
The US ambassador expressed readiness to step up cooperation in this area in the future.
