President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has accepted the invitation of the Uzbek leader Shavkat Mirziyoyev and will pay a state visit to Uzbekistan on December 21-22, the press service of the Uzbek leader reported.
In line with the program of the visit, high-level talks will be held to discuss topical issues on the bilateral and regional agenda.
The two leaders are expected to discuss the ways to deepen the Uzbek-Kazakh of strategic partnership and alliance relations, increasing the volume of the two-way trade, promoting mutually beneficial industrial cooperation projects, expanding cooperation in the fields of agriculture, transport and logistics, continuing active interregional and cultural and humanitarian exchanges.
The heads of state are also scheduled to launch a number of major joint investment projects and oversaw the signing a solid package of bilateral agreements on priority areas of cooperation.
