The Uzbek Senate elected Alisher Kurmanov Chairman of the Senate Committee on International Relations, Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Tourism.
Prior to this appointment Kurmanov served as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Botir Asadov has been elected Deputy Chairman of the Committee.
Earlier Asadov worked as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Korea.
