President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a working visit to St. Petersburg on December 26-27 to attend the informal meeting of the heads of state of the Commonwealth of Independent States, the presidential press service said.
The agenda of the event, held at the initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin, will reportedly include discussion of the ways to further expand the multilateral cooperation within the CIS.
It is expected that the leaders of the CIS countries will sum up the main outcomes of the outgoing year and exchange views on priority areas of practical cooperation.
